Most of the photographs on this site are availabe to buy in a variety of sizes and finishes, or as a digital file for use as stock photography (conditions apply). Exceptions are clearly stated; you will find them in separate galleries marked "Not for Sale."

ROYALTY-FREE IMAGES

The pictures in these galleries are offered royalty free, and the prices are stepped according to the size of the file. As opposed to rights-managed images, royalty-free pictures can be used as many times as you like, in as many formats as you choose . . . all for the one-off payment displayed.

You can use the photographs for personal projects or commercial ones . . . although there are exclusions to their use: you cannot resell the images. For example you are not allowed to print the pictures and offer them for sale; you are not permitted to use the images for a website template which you then sell (although using them in your personal/company's website is fine) - that also constitutes resale. If you're not sure whether the usage you have in mind is allowed, then please contact us before you make your purchase.

The copyright remains with the photographer; by buying the royalty-free digital image you are not buying the rights to that image, but you are buying the right to use that image as many times as you like (within the aforementioned guidelines).

If you lose or accidentally erase the image within a year of purchase, then we will resend the file to you at no extra charge (using the same method, to the same address).

Please note that the image will remain available for sale to the public. You are not purchasing the exclusive rights to the picture; others can also buy the image. If it is important to you to have the exclusive rights to any of the pictures you see on this website, or if you have any questions you would like answered before making your purchase, then please contact us, and we will endeavour to meet your needs.

DIGITAL FILE SIZES

Dimensions are approximate; exact figures and file sizes will vary from image to image.

If you are looking for larger images, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Images will usually be emailed as attachments. Please ensure that give us your correct email address at the electronic checkout, and that your email is capable of receiving the file size ordered.

RIGHTS MANAGED

If it is important to you to have the exclusive rights to any of the pictures you see on this website, then get in touch with details of your intended usage, including the size of the image required, print run etc. and we'll get back to you with a quote.

There are currently over 8000 images available in the stock library, with more being added all the time. You can search through the stock photos available by clicking on this link. If you find an picture you would like to use, then register on the site, and place your chosen image or images onto your lightbox. Drop us a line and let us know the size of image and usage you require, and we'll send you a quote.

ORDERING AND DELIVERY

For your convenience and security we offer payment via paypal. Don't worry if you don't have a paypal account yourself, as we accept all major credit and debit cards or you can pay by bank transfer if you prefer; we recommend that you pay for your purchase in one of these ways.

If the above options don't suit you, then you can pay by cheque - however please be aware that this will increase the delivery time, as we will wait for the cheque to clear before activating your order. Please email us first at support@serenityphotography.co.uk if you intend to pay this way.

We will confirm your order by email, and send the image soon after - usually within 48 hours. If there are any errors or omissions, please advise us at the earliest opportunity; digital files cannot be cancelled or refunded after they have been sent.

It is possible for us to send the files to your server via FTP (file transfer protocol); if you would prefer this delivery method, please advise us in the "comments" section of the shopping cart (you will see this once you proceed to the checkout area), providing us with the relevant details.

Alternatively we can write the files to a CD and send them via the postal service - which will of course take longer than electronic methods.

The images displayed on the website have been scaled down, and the quality reduced, to enable the site to load quickly. The originals are of superior quality. Colours may appear differently if your screen is not correctly calibrated.
